Amazon API
Today we already create and publish Amazon feeds for our customers. This Amazon feed allows you to publish your products on Amazon.
Amazon also has an API, which we are looking at today.
That API could be used to do a deep integration with the webstore and still have the fulfillment still be done by you, the reseller.
That API could also be used by you to manage Amazon orders, shipping, payments and inventory via your webstore directly.
Amazon charges the reseller a fee for that product listing based on the category. To give you an example, for computers, that's a 7% uplift, for computer accessories the fee is 15% for the portion of the total sales price up to €100,00. 8% for any portion of the total sales price greater than €100,00.
